Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

To reproduce the crash.

1. play a video larger (e.g. 1280x720) than the screen size (1024x768) using
default video renderer (xvideo I suppose)
2. play another video using default video renderer -> crash of xserver, back to
login-screen

My setup:
Thinkpad x60
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML
Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/GME, 943/940GML Express
Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
Using internal LCD at 1024x768 and external Display at 1024x768.

Ubuntu 8.04, with Kernel 2.6.24-18-generic
xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.2.1-1ubuntu13
