Possible work-around : I confirm what tim said above (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/liferea/+bug/215016/comments/11) : running liferea using sudo avoids the crash :
- without sudo => it crashes at startup - if I just "sudo liferea" then it does not crash but it does not display my feeds either (I guess it uses or even creates some root profile which starts with default example feeds) - if I "sudo -u myusername liferea" then it does not crash and it uses my feeds ! and the liferea icon remains visible -- Liferea (Hardy) crashes on startup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/215016 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
