I must appologize for delay, i forgotten, that this bug is still open. In Ubuntu 7.10 this problem has been completely solved. For now i use 8.04 on the same HW (it means 64 bit version) and everything works perfect.
Additionally in compare with Windows, if i want to often switch between Czech, English, Hindi, etc. in Windows is that problem, that there is long delay between switch, what doing the switching upleasant, sometimes it is unreliable. In Ubuntu (Linux generally) the switch is without any noticeable delays. Howewer You in my opinion You can close it as solved. Thank You very much. hariprasad ** Changed in: ubuntu Assignee: (unassigned) => hariprasad (hariprasad) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released -- Problem with typing Czech characters with carons and Hindi characters in shifted line https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/88142 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
