Again, I'm using an intel driver on two computers I've had this problem on, for what it's worth.
I'm using Hardy and my initial reaction is that it's not happening with as many different letters as it used to, but it still happens more or less consistently. I.e., if I type a string of various accented characters in a document with the above Arabic-transliteration characters, at least one of them will very often display incorrectly. If I close and reopen the document, the characters may or may not reappear correctly.
