Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: miro

Running Ubuntu 8.04 on 2.6.24-18-generic, x86_64

miro 1.1.2-0ubuntu2, libxine1 1.1.11.1-1ubuntu3, miro-data
1.1.2-0ubuntu2

I can start up miro just fine, subscribe to channels, and download
media. However, whenever I click on a video to play, miro immediately
crashes with a SIGSEGV. I never get any crash report popup with miro.

--------------------

I've tried with --sync, --disable-xine-hack, and all likely alternatives
for --xine-driver (opengl, xshm, xv), but the same problem occurs, and I
don't get any additional information.

I can't find any additional miro packages that could provide proper
symbols, so the backtraces are probably meanless, but I'm attaching them
nontheless.

I've tried removing miro and all libxine packages, then reinstalling
them. I also wiped ~/.miro and ~/.xine in case there might be some bad
settings there. No difference.

** Affects: miro (Ubuntu)
