Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gcalctool

I saw the bug number #172449 that is similar, but in this case the
problem was solved. In my case the gcalctool doesn't work fine.

My distribution is:
DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu
DISTRIB_RELEASE=8.04
DISTRIB_CODENAME=hardy
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 8.04"

The packet with problem is:
$ dpkg -l | grep -i gcalctool
ii  gcalctool                                  5.22.2-0ubuntu1
  A GTK2 desktop calculator

When I use MOD operation after a x^y operation the MOD function don't
work, because the result is invalid.

If I put 2^2 MOD 2 the message "Invalid modulus operation parameter(s)"
appears. And the result don't appears.

The correct result of this is 0. I tried some other ways like:
2^2 and after I clicked in "=". After I clicked in "=" I clicked in MOD and 2
and I clicked again in "=". The same message appears. I already tried with many
numbers. But in all cases I can't saw the correct result.

I will attach the screenshot of the calculator with this error.

** Affects: gcalctool (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
