So I gather from the lack of a response that I either (a) posed a question too difficult (b) have escaped the notice of someone who does have the answer (c) seriously pissed someone off by admitting I am a beginner. Sorry, I am a beginner and have limited knowledge/experience with Ubuntu. I am, however, willing to take instructions. Please consider this as a replacement for a really nasty diatribe which I could have left but chose not to do, but remained civil hopping for a positive response. jim
