That's unfortunately not true for my Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter (rev 04). I get less lockups though and no kernel panics so far (my NIC is Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter (rev 04)).
