Maybe nobody has filed in bug against it in bugzilla.gnome.org, but the upstream translation of Rhythmbox is definitely incomplete. If you take a look at
http://l10n.gnome.org/POT/rhythmbox.HEAD/rhythmbox.HEAD.de.po and search for "Pre_vious" you can see that it's marked as fuzzy and therefore untranslated. That's exactly the string displayed in the system tray.
