Public bug reported: When user gets some error in local (non-english) language and wants to use Google to find the explanation or solution, he or she can have problems, because on forums are mostly cited errors in english language.
So it would be nice to have an easily accessible web based service to enter any string from any ubuntu package and get the orginal english string. I believe this is not hard to implement. It can be implemented in connection with Rosetta, however, link to htis service should be clearly visible on Ubuntu website or it should be some simple application in Ubuntu to do such search. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Error strings in local languages https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/240643 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
