Sounds like you have a few different bugs there. The apport stuff in here
seems to be referring to a crash in hwdb.
Please file separate bugs for:
- your install problem with SWAT, along with logs of the errors you get from
apt-get.
- the crash with the graphical package manager (probably Adept if this is
Kubuntu).
Also, please try the latest release, 8.04 to see if you still have these
problems there.
