I suggest calling the script /usr/share/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/50firestarter so it will launch after the 01ifupdown script. Otherwise, it doesn't work. Of course, you also need to make the script file executable. Usiing this approach, you can disable the Firestarter system service.
