Public bug reported: Binary package hint: hplip
Hi, Using evince or some other gtkprint application ( e.g.: http://cifrado.free.fr/ ), the application freeze once i launch the print operation (print dialog). Here is the output from gdb (i Ctrl+C the programm to get the backtrace after launching the print dialog) : Program received signal SIGINT, Interrupt. [Switching to Thread 0xb6b77720 (LWP 6924)] 0xb7f7c410 in __kernel_vsyscall () (gdb) bt #0 0xb7f7c410 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0xb72f7c38 in connect () from /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libpthread.so.0 #2 0xb548b1ec in httpAddrConnect () from /usr/lib/libcups.so.2 #3 0xb5489a66 in httpReconnect () from /usr/lib/libcups.so.2 #4 0xb548a13a in httpConnectEncrypt () from /usr/lib/libcups.so.2 #5 0xb54c32df in ?? Using lp to create the print job works nice. I never had this problem with epiphany. I don't know whether the bug is in software/gtkprint/cups/hplip. Note that it fails for about one week :/ Regards, Étienne. ** Affects: hplip (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Freeze while requesting cups printer details https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/241728 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
