hey, i have the same issue and had it with ff2 as well. i was rather hoping this would have been fixed for ff3. of the extensions you have installed i also have the ubuntu modifications and webdeveloper. typing in the address field is not the problem only pressing enter or the go arrow just does not function. behaviour seems very random. sometimes it happens with 3 tabs open, sometimes with seven, sometimes not at all. i at least could not see what triggers this.
