Same thing happens to me too. The only thing I can do is to browse the files from my phone, and copy the file to the desktop.
Other problems: * Sending file from ubuntu to phone gives out obex unsupported errors, but the file will get sent, eventually. * Sending file from phone to ubuntu is as reported in this bug. Phones used, N70, N95 and N73, all reports "Sending Failed" * Double clicking on a file when in Browse Device mode gives Obex unsupported error, but dragging the file out to the desktop works.
