The boot error is now happening even without the USB hub connected! But again, its very random in nature. I just keep rebooting my machine and it starts booting properly in one attempt.
I have a dual boot with Vista, could that be a problem? if I select Vista from Grub, it boots up everytime without any issue whatsoever.
