The thing is, my touchpad isn't synaptic, it's elantech; and as far as I know, there are no easy-to-use elantech drivers as of yet. My touchpad is reported as a PS/2 Generic Mouse. This usually only happens at startup and after it's finished (30s - 1m), it doesn't seem to happen the rest of the time it's running. As far as I can remember, this started happening in either Gutsy beta or Hardy beta.
