I believe I'm still having this problem, or a related one at least. Using guarddog, but firewall is disabled:

It opens correctly libupnp.so.3. I don't really understand rest of the log; it seems to bound to 192.168.0.3 (which is my LAN IP) instead of 192.168.0.1 which is the router? UPNP is active on the router, of course (as for instance transmission or deluge work right, as emule on windows). package versions: amule=2.2.0~svn20080525-0ubuntu1 from intrepid, libupnp3=1.6.6-1 . System is hardy with some packages from intrepid (as in aptitude install -t intrepid), with intrepid pinned to less preference than hardy in /etc/apt/preferences as to not try to dist- upgrade the whole system. -- [hardy] amule upnp needs libupnp2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/201624 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
