Public bug reported:
Since updating to 8.04, I cannot write CDs anymore. I put a blank CD
into the drive, it shows up, I put files into CD/DVD Creator, click
Write to Disc, get the "Write to Disc" dialog with the various options,
click Write, and then the "Writing to Disc" message blinks past for a
fraction of a second, and nothing more. The disc is still blank; nothing
has been written.
