Public bug reported: This was ubuntu 8.04 alternate CD downloaded from Georgia Tech mirror site on 6/24/08. This was a new installation. When I clicked CONTINUE I later got the messages "WARNING: Couldn't download package libss10.9.8" and "no installable kernel was found in the defined APT sources"
Since I am new to ubuntu and linux, I did not try to troubleshoot these.. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- debootstrap warning, file ://cdrom/pool/main/0/openss1/libss10.9.8_0.9.9g -4ubuntu3_i386.deb was corrupt https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/243019 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
