Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnomescan

That's what I do:
I put an A4 document in my flatbed A4 scanner.
I select A4 as paper size.
Select Preview tab and click on Update.
After I've acquired the preview image I can't move/resize the selection box.

I've also tried to choose manual size, but when I try to save to PDF the
resulting image is about 1/4 size.

I've tried both 0.4.1 (ubuntu hardy) and 0.6
(https://launchpad.net/~bersace/+archive) none works with A4 paper,
(with 0.6 I can only save to png with manual size)

I did the same work with Xsane and worked flawlessy saving as png,pdf
and multipage pdf.

My scanner is an Epson RX500 (all-in-one) printer.

Attached an image showing selection area against A4 paper.

If you need some more debugging info please ask.
