It may be quicker to start by disabling all addons, seeing if it still does it, then adding them back in to see where it fails. That way, if it's a problem with firefox, not the plugins, you will find that out much quicker ;-)
Also, don't forget to disable plugins--particularly if you have adobe's flash player (flashplugin-nonfree), which often causes troubles.
