(@Luke Yelavich) Imho it is a shame that server edition does not support dmraid and that this bug is not assigned to anyone for years. Who ever would setup a server not using mirroring?
A first solution to the problem would be: - Include module md in the startup code of installer etc. - Change the installing script in such a way that "Detecting harddiscs" recognizes raids.
