Once again, I think that this feature is implemented with haste in Kubuntu, and knowing that it would not work well.
I think what happens is this: 1 .- Kaffeine can not play a file. 2 .- Kaffeine try installing libxine1-ffmpeg. 3 .- Kaffeine said he installed. 4 .- Kaffeine tries to play the file. And back to point number one. We always are treated as second-class users. Mr. Shuttleworth, Kubuntu needs more developers! Or stop this sencond-class distribution.
