Public bug reported:
Kubuntu 8.10 Alpha 1 Adept and Update Manager will not open due to bug
in KDEsu. Passwords are not passed properly to these applications.
Thus the applications fail to open. Even typing in the correct
password, the password is rejected by KDEsu. Having to update via CLI
due to this error.
