If followed correctly, the 'lines of code' as noted above will fix the error, provided that you meet the following conditions, explicitly.
- You are indeed running Ubuntu 8.04.1 32bit. - You are running Firefox 3. Use each line separately rather than in a block. Under Applications > Accesories you will find 'Terminal'. Copy and then paste (using [shift] + [ins]) the first line into the terminal session, press enter, following any instructions you are given on screen, repeat this for the other three lines of code.
