Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
When running firefox (3.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1) it won't come up. On the command line i just get this: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ firefox Segmentation fault I ran across the wiki entry about bugreporting for firefox, so please find the gdb-output attached. I already tried reinstalling all packages including the ones firefox depends on, so I doubt it's a harddisk failure. Running the ProfileManager segfaults as well - no hope of using a fresh profile. Moving the $HOME/.mozilla dir out of the way to get rid of the extensions I use doesn't help at all. Unfortunately I'm not sure if this is firefox-specific, because the latest thunderbird behaves the same :-( Pls. let me know if you need more information on this issue.
