I don`t know about upstream bug reports but I do not think they are related to the problem with Thunar in (X)Ubuntu. Main File manager in Xubuntu distribution is useless and it desire attention and Action!
it Happened again. I opened another window, new window was doing for a half a minute "something" to HDD not responding and eventually starts to work. But after closing that window, first window STAYS frozen. Similar problem does NOT happen with pcmanfm ,for instance, so this is Thunar BUG. (I am not sure what is incomplete about this bug anyway) I use Xubuntu 8.04 amd64 (LTS) and problem is the Same and if Thunar in this useless state represents (X)Ubuntu LTS(!)
