Hello,

Thanks a lot for trying to reproduce the bug. Okay, so apparently after
yesterday updates, the bug is gone. I say apparently because I also
activated the "quick starter" of open office, though, now if I quit the
quick starter and double click on a document, it seams to start okay. I
haven't deactivated it completely since if it is part of the cure, I
don't want to mess it up.

I am highly convinced this bug was dependent on the very specific
architecture of the computer combined with the updates of the 18th of
June. I have three machines with Ubuntu, the one in my office, my laptop
and my wife's laptop. The three of them are ADM, one with 32bit, one
with 64 and one with 64 double core, two with Nvidia and one with ATI.
The only one showing the problem was the 64 single core with ATI (all of
them run openoffice 2.4.1)

Anyway, thanks again for the support... and I hope this information
could be helpful for someone, even if I doubt it, since it was a very
specialized and temporary problem. The only reason I freaked out was
because I just changed that laptop from Kubuntu to Ubuntu and it
coincide with the day of the updates, so after a few days of not
working, I didn't know if it was something more serious.

Cheers,

Leo.
