Public bug reported:

I opened a JPG file in gimp, resized it, and saved it as a PNG. I then
used the PNG in a html page as an image, and when I loaded the page in
the browser, gimp crashed.

Since I'm using edgy, the crash reporting thing popped up and saved a
crash file. I then installed gimp-dbg, and ran apport-retrace on the
crash file. (This is what I'm supposed to do, correct?)

Not sure if it's relevant, but the image in question was in a directory
that was mounted over the network using cifs/samba.

** Affects: gimp (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
