- Before I burned the cd I checked the md5sum. - I burned the cd in a new laptop (so a new drive) and I did the installation on this same laptop. - I just booted from the cd and checked the integrity of the cd. It reported to be fine.(when I pressed enter to continue it checked it again and again and again)
