Sorry, I didn't that thread so far. But updating the firmware was not
the cure for my problem. Meanwhile I found an other post witch a very

I just got my hardware back from the vendor the second time. They say
they tested the hardware but did not have any kind of failure. I wonder
if they really  tested like thy should. Tests were done (again!) on Win
XP Pro which does not seem for me to be a 64 bit OS.  Neither Prime95 or
3DMark seems to me like appropriate testing applications for this
hardware. Last but not least they run 533 and/or 800 MHz. This
combination should run on 1066MHz.

As it seems to me to be a hardware defect or even an incompatibility
between the involved components I just canceled the payment for that
stuff and send it finally back where it came from.
