Not solved for me on gutsy 7.10 with apt-cacher installed on Thursday 3 July 2008:
% sudo rm /var/cache/apt-cacher/packages/*Packages*gz % sudo /usr/share/apt-cacher/apt-cacher-cleanup.pl -v D: gb.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_edgy-updates_main_source_Sources.gz GET /gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/edgy-updates/main/source/Sources.gz D: gb.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_edgy-updates_multiverse_source_Sources.gz GET /gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/edgy-updates/multiverse/source/Sources.gz ... Remove the file if the repository is no longer interesting and the packages pulled from it are to be removed. So, the underlying problem seems to be that edgy packages are .gz, newer packages are .bz2, and if you have a few edgy clients edging their way towards being updated thanks to the nice new apt-cache you get an unhappy apt-cacher? -- apt-cacher clear obsolete deb packages error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/125749 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
