Motherboard Asus P5E-VM HDMI with Monitor VGA

I have this issue:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ glxinfo|grep direct
Failed to initialize TTM buffer manager.  Falling back to classic.
direct rendering: Yes
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ glxgears
Error: couldn't get an RGB, Double-buffered visual

when my system boot I see a blank screen but after a few seconds Gdm
start, boot works correctly but I don't see a kernel messagges. Instead
with:

kernel          /vmlinuz-2.6.26-3-generic root=UUID=5c54d574-8e9c-
472e-8878-5f0e09ed46e4 ro quiet splash vga=792

I see a usplash screen without kernel messagges. 
Compiz fusion doesn' works, if I try start compiz with a terminal I have this 
output:

/usr/bin/compiz.real (core) - Error: Failed to manage screen: 0
/usr/bin/compiz.real (core) - Fatal: No manageable screens found on display :0.0

This issue is present with xorg.conf fresh install and with my personal
xorg.conf.
