** Description changed:

After updates on 5-6th July, this includes a kernal upgrade from
2.6.23.2 to 2.6.23.3, I get white screen on loging in. I have to say
blinded by Ctrl f2, metacity --replace, which gives me my desktop...

This is an intel 915gm graphics, And I am running intrepid with all
- latest updates...
+ latest updates... Booting into older kernel still produces same white
+ screen. I tried reconfiguring xserver (-phigh).
