I think this is better suited as a question, rather than a bug report. OK... I'm having trouble understanding you, but I'll do my best: 1. Do you mean the drive is not being mounted? If you do, from a command line, "sudo mkdir /media/otherdisk", "sudo mount /dev/sdb1 /media/otherdisk" (replacing /dev/sdb1 with whatever your second disk is), can you access the drive in /media/otherdisk?
The best way to get it to mount at boot is to add the drive to /etc/fstab. 2. Konqueror does have built in search. I can't at present (in KDE 4) see the search box that it always used to have. Hopefully this will be back for KDE 4.1. In the meantime, try "gg:badger" 3. Kill it and try again? You will need to enter your password at the SU prompt. 4. Settings -> Configure Kmail -> Accounts. The system is not very intuitive, sadly, but if I remember rightly it should pop up a wizard the first time it is run to help you. ** Changed in: kubuntu-kde4-meta (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid ** bug changed to question: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kubuntu-kde4-meta/+question/38377 -- Problems from fresh install KDE4 8.04 x86 get go limiting facilty for intermediately skilled users https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/245948 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
