Hello! My Mac mini freezes completely and has to be restarted the hard way. No output to /var/log/dmesg or /var/log/messages before freeze. NumLock key on keyboard doesn't respond anymore. I can ping the machine, but not login via ssh anymore.
I'm not sure this is anyhow related to that bug, but what I observed too is: * I cannot do anything in the rEFIt shell (boot loader) (frozen? Wrong keyboard?). * When booting into "Memcheck", memcheck never starts (freezing too?). To install Hardy I did this: run disktool in Mac OS (shrink FS), install rEFIt via Mac OS, sync MBR and GPT via rEFIt, boot and install via hardy's desktop-iso (important was to install boot loader (=grub) to the partition, not to the disk(=MBR)), resync MBR and GPT again. Since then I can start Hardy without problems via rEFIt and grub. I'm using a default (cable) USB PC keyboard and a (cable) USB mouse. The Mac mini is upgraded to 2 GB and has no swap device.
