Here is a real-world sample from Firefox 3.  Note even the hinting on
the lower part of the label along the baseline.  All of the baseline
glyphs should be aligned and yet there seems to be an extra level of
anti-aliasing along the lowest line.  One could suggest this is a result
of the font having thin strokes, but it seems that it could be
potentially something else at work.
