Hi, I have a F3Sg, I don't remember if I have the same audio card but I need to do these things to let the audio work, just give it a try: 1. In "System-->Administration-->Services" enable the "... (alsa-utils)" (I have an italian Ubuntu, sorry if I'm not so precise) 2. In the file: /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base add the following line (at the end): options snd-hda-intel model=lenovo 3. In "System-->Preferences-->Audio" set PulseAudio wherever possible 4. Regulate the ALSA mixer levels properly (important if you want to preserve your hears at reboot....) and set the "front-mic" as the default microphone (that should be the integrated one, the other should be the front mic jack, but I don't know if it works... if you'll know please share ;))
