The big problem i have with the linux community is constant "windows whining".
This energy should instead be spent on windows compatibilty software like WINE
and distributing linux yourself. I provide free linux support to my city to
whoever asks and i also spend time burning large numbers of Ubuntu, Kubuntu and
Edubuntu CD's. Spend time doing this and give them to local computer stores to
sell. I promise they'll put them on thier shelves and i also spend time setting
up new computers with Linux for these computer stores. You cannot win if you
don't work.
Ease of use is what will win this for us. Windows has that and Ubuntu has less.
Standard Ubuntu won't play a DVD the moment you put it in and installing
software that isn't inside the basic Add/Remove programs can be a pain. Windows
has autorun where you put the disk in and it walks you through an installation
very easy.
I'm not a devoloper nor do i know how to use code very well but those of you
who do should build software based more on ease of use than power and extras.

"Work don't Whine"
that should be Ubuntu's motto
