1. Attached Canon FB636U using USB to machine 2. Started xsane 3. tried to aqcuire image -> xsane hangs
I expected it to work like it used to work previously, slow but doing a prescan. Nothing I have reported this several times in 6.10, 7.04 and 7.10. With 8.04 it worked for the first time after years (used to scan in 6.06). However, after several updates I have lost track when it stopped working again. The scanner is attached to a USB device correctly.
