Steps to reproduce the error:
Login as User1.
Use the Fast User Switch applet to switch to User2
Logout
Result:
Black screen with mouse.
Cannot access terminal with Ctrl+Alt+f*
Cannot reset the x server with Ctrl+Alt+BackSpace
I would expect the login dialog to appear
lsb_release -rd says:
