Hi Max, Sorry for the delayed response. Thanks for testing the upcoming Intrepid kernel, it sounds promising to have resolved the issue. I agree that it would be great to isolate the patch which could be backported to Hardy. How comfortable would you be performing a git bisect to try and narrow down the patch? The following link has some instructions: http://www.kernel.org/doc/local/git-quick.html#bisect . The only issue is you'd have to switch the meanings of "Good" and "Bad" since you'll be looking for the patch which resolves the issue and not causes the regression. And note, performing a git bisect is obviously not something expected of bug reporters. It's competely up to you and only if you feel comfortable doing so. However, due to the fact that the kernel team is unable to reproduce and debug the issue, they appreciate any help they can get from reporters like yourself.
