Public bug reported:

mizar:[~] sudo apt-get install linux-doc
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
  libavutil1d libtotem-plparser10 libswscale1d libavcodec1d
Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.
The following extra packages will be installed:
  linux-doc-2.6.26
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  linux-doc-2.6.24
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  linux-doc-2.6.26
The following packages will be upgraded:
  linux-doc

linux-doc-2.6.24 and linux-doc-2.6.26 both contain only files in
/usr/share/doc/<package> and thus do not have a file conflict. I see no
reason why they shouldn't be installable at the same time, and this is
potentially useful when testing a new kernel.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
