Public bug reported:
Hello,
Just recently I was helping a friend switch to Ubuntu when I encounter a
few bugs. My friend has a MT3705 gateway laptop. The bug I encountered
is with the panel. Even though there's a bunch of stuff on the panel,
when I login for the first time, it's blank. No menu button or anything
of that sort. If I reload gnome-panel or re-login this problem goes
away. This happened when I updated Ubuntu (just a few days ago). I
installed Ubuntu with the most recent installation disc. Any way I had
to return the laptop, so for the now I can't provide any further
information other then it had ATI graphics and was able to do every
thing else include desktop effects (couldn't get the wireless internet
to work either).
