I've added the "vga=0" and thins changed a bit. Now the  xorg process
stops consuming 100% of the cpu cycles after the resume. However, the
screen doesn't resume properly and now has strange vertical lines. But
now i'm able to switch to tty1 with ctrl-alt-f1 and if i go back to X
diaplay 0 with alt-f7 the screen is refreshed ok and i see my desktop
and i'm able to use it.
