Hi, using Fedora 9, OpenJDK 6. Solution from Cameron Braid, works great (for now), I needed to compile Spring Batch project. Many thanks. BTW: I do not think switching to Fedora would have helped - I have same problem on my Ubuntu 8.04 box (as well Fedora 9).
