Chris, I spoke too soon. I got the kernel oops again last night.
But I cannot now replicate the bug at will. I'm going to test frequently today with the rfkill switch off, to see if it is possible to isolate to the wireless interface and driver. I'm testing that specifically because of the messages related to iwl4965 near the end of the oops.
