At 100 DPI 0.05pt is 0.069 pixels (0.05/72*100) and 0.50pt is 0.69
pixels. So you can't see the difference normally. If you set zoom to
500% you should be able to see the difference since it would then take
0.345 pixels and 3.45 pixels for those two line types.
It works like the above at least in openoffice.org 1:2.4.1-1ubuntu2.
