All right... as soon as I entered the bug, I found the culprit (and this
has been bugging me all weekend).  I had the "noscript" plugin
installed, so when I pressed [search], it looked for the text that was
in the text box, which was set to "search".  Apparently, with NoScript
turned on, it kept the default text in that text box.  And so all of my
results had the word "search" in them.

Groan.
